Este documental del grupo australiano Midnight Oil será estrenado el próximo 10 de mayo en algunas salas de cine... ya nos enteraremos alguna cadena de México se anima a proyectarlo.
Conocí a Midnigh Oil -obviamente- con el vídeo de Beds Are Burning de su disco Diesel and Dust lanzado en 1988. La canción se distinguía facilmente de los hits de bandas de "glam rock" o "hair metal" gracias a su pegajoso coro y el muy partículas estilo y timbre de voz de Peter Garret. No resultaba sencillo entender la canción sin conocer el contexto político de la banda.

La historia de esta agrupación es muy interesante por lo que hacer un documental interesante no debe haber representatado mayor problema.
El documental incluye escenas de conciertos de aquel año pero con entrevistas actuales realizadas para este documental. El trailer es sensancional...
